Agricultural Heritage & Resources Inc. was founded in 1994 as a not-for-profit educational organization concerned about the need to preserve and promote the agricultural based heritage of Brown, Door, Kewaunee, and Manitowoc Counties. Since the gift of the farmstead, Agricultural Heritage & Resources has committed to bring events and activities to these very special facilities that focus on community and family.
American Legion Post 29
A patriotic veterans’ organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. The Nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization committed to mentoring youth and sponsoring wholesome programs in our community, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion for our fellow service members and veterans. Don & Jean Smith Charitable Fund
Don and Jean Smith were life-long residents of the City of Kewaunee. Upon their passing, they established a charitable fund to be used to enhance the City.
Kewaunee Rescue provides EMT services to the communities of Kewaunee, West Kewaunee, Carlton, and parts of Casco, Pierce, and Ahnapee townships Currently we have 3 ambulances, an ATV and rescue sled, 18 EMT-Intermediates, 12 EMT-Basics, and 6 Drivers. KAC' provides classes in a wide variety of art forms, specialized crafts, painting, drawing, culinary arts, quilting and sewing.
Kewaunee County Food Pantry is located at 1528 Sunset Avenue in Algoma. The services are available to all families in Kewaunee County. A used furniture store is also available to those in need.
It is the mission of the Kewaunee County Garden club to support the horticulture efforts of the people and communities of the county with volunteer work, education, and example.
KCHS History Center is full of displays and items that make for a wonderful browsing experience! It is home to over 20,000 photographs useful to genealogists, researchers, history buffs and families. The Center has thousands of documents such as tax records, indexes of deaths/ marriages/ births, early land ownership, school histories, veteran histories, maps and much more.
The Kewaunee Fire Department Auxiliary supports the efforts of the Kewaunee Fire Department and its volunteers. The Auxiliary holds two brat fry's at Lakehaven each year.

The Kewaunee Lions were founded in 1953 by members of the Two Rivers Lions Club. We operate under the constitution and by-laws of Lions Club International. We continue to back our core programs of sight, hearing, diabetes, and helping those in need that are less fortunate. We embrace all people as members, male and female alike. We have students to retired as members of our Club. Our motto is “We Serve”.
Optimist club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7 am at Kunkels Corner.
Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united world-wide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
Lakeshore Community Pantry operates a food pantry located at Holy Rosary Church basement and open Wednesday’s from 1 to 3 p.m. We also operate a thrift store at 233 Ellis Street, open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10 am until 2 pm, Wednesday from 11 am until 4 pm and Thursday from 10 am until 4 pm. Our mission is to help meet the physical needs of those in the Kewaunee Community by providing food, clothing and household goods to those in need.
Our club is located in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. We are a hard working, active club that that promotes Conservation, Education, and Sportsmanship relating to all outdoor pursuits. Our club house/barn resides on 70 acres that is managed for local wildlife as well as recreational opportunities for our members.
The VIP is a nonprofit domestic violence and sexual assault victim service provider in Kewaunee County. VIP’s services extend to all victims of domestic violence and sexual assault regardless of sex, age, race, religion, or sexual orientation. Services include crisis counseling, 24-hour Helpline, legal medical and personal advocacy, information and referral, support groups, emergency housing services, safety planning, transportation, follow-up, transitional living assistance and supervised visitation and exchange services.

The Kewaunee Economic Development Corporation works pro-actively to retain, expand, develop and attract businesses that strengthen the economy of Kewaunee County. As the economy and markets transition, KCEDC helps business and local communities prepare and partner for adaptation and improvement.
MAGIC will provide support and leadership for the growth of the Mishicot area. This program will promote Mishicot’s cultural heritage, improve community pride and work to revitalize the downtown district.
