Kewaunee enjoys miles of spectacular beachfront on Lake Michigan’s western shore. Whether you are interested in swimming, sand castle building, or just a stroll down the beach, visit our beach parks for great outdoor recreation.

Father Marquette Memorial Park

This is a beautiful 2 acre active recreation area located in the outer harbor area and protected by the harbor breakwaters. This park features a beach and swimming area, active playground equipment, restroom facilities and a pavilion structure, ( Reservations Required). The Father Marquette Memorial commemorates his visit to these shores in 1674 with a huge stone monument. Located at the end of Marquette Drive. Please call to reserve the pavilion 920-388-5000. Pioneer Park

Located right on Lake Michigan, Pioneer Park has a wide sandy beach. A great place to bring the kids to play in the sand, swim, or walk down the beach. Our lighthouse has been featured in numerous photographs taken from this park. The park includes picnic tables, grills, playground equipment. Located at the end of Kilbourn Street. Harbor Park

Harbor Park is a scenic park located right along Kewaunee’s Harbor. It is a popular location for fishing, boat watching, picnics, and music festivals. The park offers a gazebo, picnic tables, benches, grills and a boardwalk along the harbor and Kewaunee River. The Tug Ludington is docked here all summer long and is available for tours. Selner Park

Located at the end of Lake Street, this park offers an elevated view of Lake Michigan, overlooking Pioneer Park’s beach. This park has the best view of our pier and lighthouse and is frequently used by artists for inspiration. The park offers benches, picnic tables, grills, playground equipment, and a drinking fountain. Now under construction is a rest facility with a pavailion for use. Haney Park

Haney Park is a baseball field available to the public and for leagues. It has a concession stand, picnic tables, playground equipment, bleachers, restrooms, and a lighted field and electric scoreboard. The field is flooded in the winter to create a public ice skating ring and supplies a heated locker room to put on your skates or to just warm up.

 

Kewaunee Memorial Park & Kiewig Park

Kewaunee Memorial park is located on Lincoln Street in the southern portion of Kewaunee. It is a lighted baseball diamond and football field, with concession stand, restrooms, bleachers, and batters cage. The park connects to Kiewig Park on the same street and features a lighted tennis court, swings, playground equipment, grills, picnic tables, and a large covered picnic area for larger outdoor gatherings.

 

 


Breummer Park

Located one mile west of Kewaunee on the corner of County Road C & County Road F, the park offers a large picnic and playground area shaded by large trees of all types. The park also has a small zoo. You can expect to find deer, raccoon, peacocks, pigmy goats, and two bob cats. It also has public access to the Kewaunee River for fishing. If a scenic shaded walk is what you are looking for this is the park for you. The park also has several shelters for picnics and parties, call 920-388-0444, to reserve a shelter for the day.

 Harbor Point Park

 

Harbor Point Park is located at the end of Hathaway Drive and offers you a beautiful view of the city of Kewaunee and the Tug Ludington. It is a great place to fish, have a picnic, or just relax while watching the many fishing boats leaving or entering the harbor. Enjoy the peacefullness of this quaint little park.
