The 12th Annual Kewaunee
Chamber of Commerce Troutman Duathlon,
Team Duathlon,
50K Bike,
5K Run and 5K Walk.
(Walk is non-compete, no timing chip issued.)

THE DUATHLON COURSE:  5K Run - 30K Bike - 5K Run.  The run begins at the Kewaunee High School and winds through scenic Kewaunee, the bike route heads west for a trip through the Kewaunee River Valley.  The race culminates with a repeat of the 5K run.   BIKE HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.

THE TEAM DUATHLON: 5K Run - 30K Bike - 5K Run. Each team will consist of two people. One begins with the 5K run, upon returning, the runner passes his/her timing chip to the person biking. Upon their return, the chip is returned to the runner, who completes the race.  The Team Duathlon follows the same course as the individual duathlon. 
BIKE HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.
 
THE 5K COURSE:  The 5K run/walk follows the duathlon route through the Marquette Historic District. The 5K walk is non-compete

50K BIKE: A scenic and challenging 31 miles through the rural Kewaunee County. Race ends with a sprint through the city. No Aero Bars, please. BIKE HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.

All races start and finish on Third Street in front of the Kewaunee High School.

RACE DAY:  Register at Kewaunee Public School Complex

Juried Art Contract
March 1, 2012

Hours of Operations: Saturday July 14th 10:00 am until 6:00 pm and Sunday July15th from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.      
Your area needs to be set up at least a half hour before the start times of operation. This is a two day outside event and you must be present both days. It is advised to bring protection from the elements. Set up will be a
designated area in Harbor Park.

Please return this contract with a $20.00 fee to reserve your 10 x 10 foot vending space. If you need additional space, please pay an extra $20.00 for an additional 10 x 10 foot space. Your payment and contract is
due by June 1st, 2012.

Parade Rules for 2012
Parade will leave
Kewaunee High School at Noon

Please enter the Kewaunee High School parking lot threw Northwest driveway. Please be there at 11:00.
Fire Trucks please get your position and pull on Lincoln Street  west of the southwest driveway.
You will be assigned your position when you enter the parking lot.
Have your unit decorated with the theme.
Maximum height of clearance is 13 ft.
We would like all units to have skirting on them to conceal the undercarriage. This is recommended-but we will allow units without skirting.
ALL drivers of motorized units must have proper license to operate on any
city street.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL will be tolerated in or on parade units. State law prohibits open containers. If you are seen with an open container you will be cited.
NO firearms or fireworks
may be discharged.
NO THROWING ANYTHING from moving units. You may have walkers 5ft from curb throwing candy.
(This is to prevent children from
walking out in the street)
Maintain 15 ft. in between units. In the event your float stalls or has problems please pull off to the right side and let other units through.
Have FUN and keep it safe.

2012 Trout Festival Information will be added as received.

Provided are the 50K Bike, Full Duathlon, and 5K Run.  Note that there will be no half Duathlon this year.
